There's never a shortage of places to shop when you live in Knightdale. Most of the area's everyday conveniences—including a Target, Food Lion, Walmart, and gas stations—can be found on Knightdale Boulevard. Knightdale Crossing Shopping Center and the Shoppes at Midway Plantation both feature even more well-known stores. Don't forget to check out local retailers in Downtown Knightdale, too!

Feeling hungry? Knightdale features an assortment of chain eateries, as well as quite a few hometown favorites. You'll find plenty of locals chowing down at Saltgrass Steakhouse, Prime Barbecue, or A'Net's Katch.

Outstanding education

Younger residents of Knightdale are served by Wake County Public Schools, the largest public district in the Carolinas. In total, WCPSS operates six elementary, three middle, and two high schools in the Knightdale area. Many students go on to attend one of the Triangle's major research universities (such as NC State or UNC Chapel Hill) or Wake Technical Community College.

Don't be fooled by Knightdale's size—this town knows how to have some fun! If you want to live like a local, try heading to a craft fair or farmers market in Knightdale Station Park. Knightdale also hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including Food Truck Thursdays, an Outdoor Movie Night Series in the summer, and a mid-November Holiday Fair. And if you're looking for more unique places to check out, try sampling a pint from Oak City Brewing Company or relax and learn at East Regional Library.
